CSPS-Korea: Student Fellows 2025

Spring 2025

Samuel Sims is a junior majoring in Global Affairs with a concentration in Global Economy and Management and a Business minor. With a background in Entrepreneurship and Management, his main focus is on economic development and security, specifically in under-developed regions. He hopes to create strong connections while having meaningful events and dialogues while at CSPS-K.  

Hayoung Yun is a junior majoring in Global Affairs with concentrations in Global Inequalities and Responses and Global Governance and a Government Analytics minor. Her current research interests focus on the role of international organizations in regional peace and security, as well as the global protection of human rights. With experience in projects addressing the needs of children in developing countries, she aims to further her understanding of global governance to effectively advocate for children’s rights. 

Minji Kim is a junior majoring in Global Affairs, with a concentration in Global Governance and a Marketing minor. Based on her previous work experience in the Public Relations sector, her major research interest is in the role of public diplomacy in international relations and national security. Through the fellowship program, she hopes to expand her knowledge and research ability in both national and international security areas as well as having in-depth experience by involving in significant projects.

Jaewon Park is a senior majoring in Economics. Drawing from research experience at Asia KLEMS and the Institute of Economic Research, Seoul National University, he is focusing on the study of productivity, capital, and investment in East Asia. Through the fellowship experience at CSPS-K, he hopes to develop his collaboration skills while working with diverse groups of people.

Hyeonmin Kwon is a junior majoring in Global Affairs with a concentration in Global Economy and Management and an Economics minor. Her current research interests lie in international trade policies and economic security, and she aims to deepen her understanding of how economic policies shape global stability. Through CSPS-K fellowship, she hopes to broaden her perspectives by engaging with diverse viewpoints and to specialize further in her field of study. She will build upon her varied experiences to engage in more in-depth academic exploration.
