Samuel Sims is a junior majoring in Global Affairs with a concentration in Global Economy and Management and a Business minor. With a background in Entrepreneurship and Management, his main focus is on economic development and security, specifically in under-developed regions. He hopes to create strong connections while having meaningful events and dialogues while at CSPS-K.
Eunchong Yim is a sophomore majoring in Global Affairs with a concentration in Global Inequalities and Responses and Human Security. She is particularly interested in disability rights. Merging the issue with many different disciplines of studies such as education and technologies, she hopes to find ways to ensure disability rights within the current societal systems to achieve high accessibility for all members in the society including people with impairments.
Minji Alyssa Kim is a junior majoring in Global Affairs, with a concentration in Global Inequalities and Responses. Her research interests encompass labor rights, and disability rights, reflecting her commitment to advocating for marginalized communities on a global scale. Through the fellowship program, she aspires to gain a comprehensive understanding of security dynamics and explore how they intersect with societal issues, aiming to contribute meaningfully to the discourse on creating inclusive and equitable systems worldwide.
Hyunwoo Jo is a junior majoring in Global Affairs with concentrations in Global Governance and Media, Communication, and Culture, and minors in Computational & Data Sciences and Data Analysis. Having worked in several student leader positions and at the Office of Admissions & Enrollment, his current research interests lie in public policy analysis and development, especially in international governance and technology, and in international branch campus (IBC) administration. As a Student Fellow at the Center for Security Policy Studies-Korea, his aim is to further his knowledge on the connection of critical and emerging technologies in today’s security landscape, specifically within Northeast Asia.
Hayoung Yun is a junior majoring in Global Affairs with concentrations in Global Inequalities and Responses and Global Governance. Her current research interests focus on the role of international organizations in regional peace and security, as well as the global protection of human rights. With experience in projects addressing the needs of children in developing countries, she aims to further her understanding of global governance to effectively advocate for children’s rights. Through her time as a Fellow at the Center for Security Policy Studies-Korea, she seeks to deepen her expertise on human security issues through engaging and insightful dialogues.
Minji Kim is a junior majoring in Global Affairs, with a concentration in Global Governance and minoring in Marketing. Based on her previous work experience as a Public Relations director, her major research interest is in the role of public diplomacy to international relations and national security. Through the fellowship program, she hopes to expand her knowledge and research ability in both national and international security areas as well as having in-depth experience by involving in significant projects.

Her research interest lies in the linkage of historical and cultural structures to international relations and current global issues. Through her time as a fellow, she seeks to gain expertise from discussions about international security issues, particularly human security issues.

As a Student Fellow at the Center for Security Policy Studies-Korea, his aim is to further his knowledge on the evolving usage of data analysis in the social sciences.
