2016-2017 Fulbright US Student Program Competition

Campus Deadline: September 15th

The Office of Fellowships is now recruiting talented rising seniors, alumni, and graduate students from all disciplines to apply for the 2016-2017 Fulbright US Student Program competition. Grants are available for students to teach English or conduct research overseas for up to one year. Must be a U.S. citizen to apply.

Dr. Kay Agoston (kagoston@gmu.edu), Director, Office of Graduate Fellowships, is the Fulbright Program Advisor for current graduate students and graduate alumni.

The campus deadline is September 15, 2016 at 11:59pm. To receive an endorsement from George Mason University, you must meet with the director and begin an application by July 1, 2016 and submit the entire application by the campus deadline. There are no exceptions.

The Office of Fellowships offers open advising hours for undergraduates to discuss Fulbright every Wednesday from 1-4pm in the ODIME office in SUB I. Please note that there will be no hours on April 6.

If you cannot attend any info sessions in person, you must review the application components online at: http://us.fulbrightonline.org/applicants/getting-started and meet with the director during office hours. Due to limited office resources, the director can only meet with students who have determined their eligibility and reviewed the website beforehand.
